Clearview Baptist Church Mission Statement
Clearview Baptist Church has become known as “The Church With A Heart.” A beautiful heart-shaped granite table is in the center of our foyer, but that is not the only place Clearview’s heart is found. It is found in each and every service. It is found in home and foreign missions, church planting, door-to-door witnessing for Christ, a music program that honors God, and old-fashioned KJV preaching from the pulpit. Our mission is to reach the lost for Christ and to train believers to become the victorious children of God that He intended for us to be.

Our Staff
Rick Eaves
Pastor
Dr. Rick Eaves grew up in the West Georgia area in a Christian home. His dad served as pastor of several churches in and around the Tallapoosa, Georgia area. Dr. Eaves was saved at the age of fourteen and surrendered the call to preach in 1986. Since that time, he attended and graduated from Covington Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Ministry degree, Master of Ministry in Pastoral Studies, and Doctor of Ministry in Theology. When asked what influenced his ministry the most, Dr. Eaves replies that it was his soul-winning dad and praying mom that kindled the fiery passion that he has for souls and church growth. Dr. Eaves' ministry goals include powerful Spirit-anointed KJV preaching, an equally powerful traditional music ministry, weekly soul-winning outreach, and reaching the lost through world-wide missions.
Terry Lyons
Associate Pastor
Brother Terry Lyons is a dedicated soul-winner who has many years of experience in children’s ministry, and bus ministry. He attended Tennessee Temple University under the late Dr. Lee Roberson. Brother Terry brings his vast experience in ministry and leadership to this very important role as Associate Pastor. His work at Clearview in the past has resulted in countless souls being won for Christ.
Blake Hurst
Music Director
Brother Blake Hurst is our Music Director and leads all our music programs at Clearview Baptist Church. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 6 and has been spreading his love of Jesus Christ through the music ministry for over 25 years as a choir director and musician. Brother Blake has a bachelor’s degree in education from Kennesaw State University and lives in Dallas, GA.
